ResortLive is designed from the ground up to empower travelers, build a strong and connected community, and make large resort experiences seamless, social, and entirely stress-free.
Users simply scan the QR code at each of the resort check-ins and start posting activities and food places on the app. Everything posted automatically goes into the live list of activities and food places that every traveler can see and click on for details. No sign-ups are needed, nothing is stored, and all content is moderated by the app's administrator.
Navigating massive properties like Barceló can often feel overwhelming. ResortLive.app helps you easily navigate through the resort via interactive maps, discover hidden shortcuts, share daily activities, and coordinate food and dining selections with fellow guests. Furthermore, it gives travelers a collective voice to resolve simple on-site issues, such as reporting live updates on local environmental conditions like the sargassum seaweed situation, so everyone can plan their beach days accordingly.
This application was built by Main Street Pixels LLC, an independent digital design studio located in Pennsylvania, USA. The founder is a passionate resort enthusiast who frequently works alongside travel agents, sharing firsthand experiences and striving to make every traveler's vacation significantly more enjoyable, informed, and organized.
"This is awesome! I think you hit the nail on the head with this. If I could pick our 10 days activities in advance with your app, I'd pay for the convenience and to know everything is booked up for us. Fantastic idea."
— Danno Zarek"It looks like a very much needed type app. User friendly as well. Even though I’ve been going to the Barcelo since it first opened, I’m still discovering activities, shortcuts and little workarounds that make my vacation easier and more fun."
— Judy Metivier"An app would be amazing. Moon Palace has an app; & it is much easier to navigate services there than Barcelo. You can make restaurant reservations, order room service... and there are interactive resort maps too."
— Laurie Klug"Thank you so much for doing this!! I don’t understand why such a large resort doesn’t already have smth like this in place. It’s pretty frustrating. It looks great! I go in November and can’t wait to use this!"
— Kenzie Mordoff"I remember when there we couldn’t figure out what shows were which nights or anything else going on daily and everyone we asked that work there pretended to have no idea."
— Kiley Ann"Yes! We just spent a week there and I couldn’t believe they have such a great resort system with all the different hotels, pools, activities and entertainment and they DO NOT have an app! It's so convenient to have one place to access everything."
